Léonard’s School in Mali

“The future of Mali? It’s the youth, but only if they have access to education”. Word of Léonard Dabou, one of the students of the World House of Rondine Cittadella della Pace passed to the Social Innovation School through MediterraanEu, which is developing a project with social fallout as part of the campaign “Liberi di partire Liberi di restare”, promoted by the IEC.

“One of the biggest difficulties for Malian children is the distance of some villages from the school, from 1 to 10 km,” says Léonard. A problem that leads to dropping out of school and often seeking their fortune in other countries. “What can I do? Open a school complex that offers quality education near my village, which also creates jobs.”
